Chantel Monchery Named February Employee of the Month

Chantel Monchery

Chantel Monchery, Nurse Tech at New England Sinai Hospital, has been named the February Employee of the Month. She is a resident of Brockton.

The Sinai Employee of the Month is chosen from nominations made by hospital staff, patients, and family members. Nominees demonstrate a "Sinai Cares" philosophy in their everyday work lives and are known for a high level of service, integrity and leadership. A committee of administrators and employees makes the final selection from those nominated.

Since 2003 Monchery's sweet nature and extraordinary devotion to patients and their families has impressed many at Sinai. Friendly, dependable and always smiling, she is drawn to others and they are drawn to her. Her co-workers call Monchery "the world's greatest nursing assistant" because she takes charge of situations with ease and is always available to help anyone in need.

Her supervisor Sinai Nurse Manager Anthony Ierardi said, "I have never met anyone who is so focused on spreading happiness and compassion to her patients and co-workers. Chantel is committed to her team and enjoys putting others first. She takes enormous pride in her work and it shows."
