Alzheimer's Day Health Center
Sinai's Alzheimer's Adult Day Health Center provides a structured program designed to promote the maximum functional capacity of Alzheimer's patients. The Center staff includes a registered nurse, social worker, activity coordinator and program assistants, all certified in the care of individuals with Alzheimer's disease. The program provides a continuum of comprehensive medical, psychosocial, nutrition and leisure activities that promote self-esteem and dignity. Through life experience validation and failure-free activities, this therapeutic environment promotes a feeling of well-being for each participant that carries through to time spent at home.
The Sinai Alzheimer's Day Center is certified by the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Association.
