CARF - Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities

For the eleventh consecutive survey, New England Sinai Hospital has been awarded a Three-Year Accreditation (until 2011) for its Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs and Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Programs. The three-year accreditation is the highest level that is awarded by [CARF] and recognizes New England Sinai's conformance to rigorous standards of quality health care, accountability, value and outstanding service. CARF is a private, not-for-profit, accreditation body committed to promoting the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of persons served.

Both Sinai's Outpatient Amputation Specialty Program (Adults) and Inpatient Amputation Specialty Program (Adults) have achieved CARF accreditation, making New England Sinai Hospital one of the few health care organizations in the country to achieve this accreditation.
