Our medical staff, led by Lawrence S. Hotes, MD, Chief Medical Officer, includes hospital based and private practice attending physicians, a comprehensive consulting staff, and highly trained physician assistants. Sinai's affiliation with Tufts University School of Medicine enables residents and fellows from Tufts New England Medical Center to be included as members of Sinai's Pulmonary and Rehabilitation teams.
Sinai's hospital-based and consulting staff hold degrees from the best medical schools and have received post-doctorate and specialty training at prestigious medical centers. Sinai's hospital-based physicians include specialists in: Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry), and Endocrinology. Our consulting staff is composed of physicians representing more than 25 specialty areas.
Sinai provides 24-hour on-site medical presence, and the availability of physicians 24-hours a day helps ensure patients safe, high quality care tailored to their individual needs.

He is a graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, DC, where he became a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha, Honor Medical Society. Dr. Hotes completed a medical internship and medical residency program at University Hospital, Boston. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Endocrinology. As a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Long Term Hospitals (NALTH), he is chairman of the NALTH research outcomes committee and physicians committee.

He completed an internship at Dr. Steeven's Hospital, Dublin; an internal medicine residency program at Federated Dublin Voluntary Hospitals; and served as a clinical fellow and a research fellow at Tufts Medical Center, Pulmonary Division. Board certified in internal, critical care, pulmonary and sleep medicine, Dr. White has been the recipient of a Parker B. Francis Fellowship Award, An American Lung Assoc. Research Grant and completed an NIH K23 Research Career Award. As part of this award he received an MS Degree in Clinical Research at Tufts University, Sackler School of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. White's research articles have been published in leading professional journals, and he has been elected multiple times by his peers for inclusion in Boston Magazine's Best Doctor listing.

New England Sinai HospitalDr. Fischer joined the medical staff at New England Sinai Hospital in 1994 where he has developed specialized neuropsychological inpatient and outpatient programs that serve adults/seniors who are disabled by a variety of disorders affecting their memory and thinking. A graduate of the California School of Professional Psychology in Berkeley, California, where he received Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology, Dr. Fischer performed his internship in clinical psychology at Stanford University Medical Center and performed postdoctoral fellowships in pediatric and adult/geriatric Clinical Neuropsychology at Children's Hospital and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Boston where he was a clinical fellow at Harvard University Medical School.
