Professional Programs
As a teaching hospital, New England Sinai Hospital provides continuing education opportunities for our team members. These programs give them the chance to enhance their knowledge, exchange information, and work together to achieve positive outcomes every day. We also invite other healthcare professionals to join us for ongoing education programs including Grand, Pulmonary, and Schwartz Rounds as well as special programs such as diabetes updates for professionals and our annual Breathing Easier Symposium.
Grand Rounds
Held twice monthly on academic calendar.
Pulmonary Rounds
Held every Friday at 12 noon.
Schwartz Rounds
Held monthly.
Sinai is one of 195 national sites to host Schwartz Center Rounds, unique, multi-disciplinary sessions in which hospital staff explore the difficult emotional and social issues in caring for patients. Studies have shown that Schwartz Center Rounds help caregivers connect better with patients emotionally; enhance their understanding of the effects of illness on patients and their families and improve communication among caregivers.
