NEW ENGLAND SINAI HOSPITAL RECOGNIZED FOR EXCELLENCE IN PHYSICAL
AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY FOR 11 CONSECUTIVE QUARTERS IN 2007-2008
STOUGHTON, MA — The Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Services at New England Sinai Hospital has earned certificates of excellence from Focus On Therapeutic Outcomes, Inc. (FOTO™) for 11 consecutive quarters. FOTO certifications are presented to only a select group of providers across the country to recognize the excellence achieved in effectiveness of treatment during the past twenty-four months. As a nationwide outcomes database and reporting service for healthcare providers, FOTO outcomes data are beneficial because they provide a benchmark measure for overall quality and value of the services offered by an organization.
“Earning 11 consecutive FOTO certifications validates and recognizes the effectiveness of our one-on-one treatment regimens and the strong patient-therapist bond that our Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists cultivate. Their dedication and commitment are the keys to helping patients feel motivated and inspired to work hard on achieving their therapy goals,” said Davida Haas, Sinai Director of Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy.
FOTO has provided outcome data to healthcare providers since 1994. More than 1,000 organizations have contributed to the FOTO database. According to Al Amata, FOTO’s President, “Sinai has proven the quality of their care by well exceeding the average performance data of all the progressive organizations across the country who are part of the FOTO network.”
