AQEEL SIDDIQUI, MD JOINS SINAI MEDICAL STAFF
STOUGHTON, MA — Vascular surgeon, Aqeel Siddiqui, MD, of Signature Healthcare-Bridgewater Goddard Park Medical Associates has been appointed to the medical staff of New England Sinai Hospital and will serve as an attending physician in the Sinai Wound Center and as the Medical Director of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Program opening later this fall. In announcing the appointment, Lawrence S. Hotes, MD, Sinai Chief Medical Officer, stated “Since its introduction three years ago, the Sinai Wound Care Center has earned an outstanding reputation in the community for highly effective wound care treatment. The addition of Dr. Siddiqui to the Wound Center team, and the introduction of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Program enhance our ability to meet the needs of our patients.”
A cum laude graduate of Brandeis University with honors in biology, Dr Siddiqui earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. He completed an internship in surgery at University of Massachusetts Medical Center, a research fellowship in surgery at Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School and a surgical residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Boston. Additionally, he served a vascular surgery fellowship at North Shore/Long Island Jewish Health System, Manhasset, NY.

Board certified in surgery, Dr. Siddiqui is the recipient of the Samuel R. Gargano MD House Officer Award in Surgery, and was a finalist for the Shock Society, New Investigator Award. A member of Signature Healthcare - Bridgewater Goddard Park Medical Associates.
