ROCKLAND RESIDENT NAMED EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
AT NEW ENGLAND SINAI HOSPITAL
STOUGHTON, MA — Cathy Hendry, Administrative Assistant to the President & CEO at New England Sinai Hospital, has been named September Employee of the Month. Hendry joined Sinai in 2002 and is a resident of Rockland.
“Cathy is the ultimate professional, and she always makes everyone feel that their request is the number one item on her ‘to do’ list,” says Hendry’s supervisor Judith C. Waterston, Sinai President & CEO.
The Sinai Employee of the Month is chosen from nominations made by hospital staff, patients, and family members. Nominees demonstrate a “Sinai Cares” philosophy in their everyday work lives and are known for a high level of service, integrity and leadership. A committee of administrators and employees makes the final selection from those nominated.
Described as “unsurpassed in her dedication to patients and staff,” Hendry brings poise and a calm demeanor to her high profile position. Known for her strong work ethic and “get it done” work style, she makes everyone visiting the hospital feel comfortable, from senators and congressmen to teenage volunteers.
When asked why she enjoys working at the hospital, Hendry says, “I like the complete sense of community at Sinai. Everyone here feels like family.”
For her willingness to go “above and beyond” to ensure that the President’s Office runs smoothly and for her amazing organizational ability, Cathy Hendry truly deserves the honor of being Sinai’s Employee of the Month.
