JUDGE FRANCIS T. CRIMMINS, JR. ELECTED TO NEW ENGLAND SINAI BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Stoughton, MA - At the Annual Meeting of the New England Sinai Hospital Board of Directors on June 6, 2006, Francis T. Crimmins, Jr., was elected to a seat on the Board. 

Crimmins is the First Justice of the Stoughton District Court, located at 1288 Central Street in Stoughton.  Appointed to the bench in 1992 by Governor William F. Weld as the Associate Justice of the Stoughton Court, Judge Crimmins was appointed First Justice of that Court in 2001.  As First Justice, he is the head administrator of the court as well as the judge who presides over civil and criminal trials for the Stoughton Division of the District Court Trial Department for matters in the area towns of Stoughton, Canton, Sharon and Avon.

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Crimmins was engaged in the general practice with offices in Stoughton.  A 1977 graduate of Harvard College with an AB Degree, cum laude, Crimmns graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 1981 with a Juris Doctrate Degree. 

Active in local affairs and public service, Crimmins served as a member of the Town of Stoughton Board of Selectman for three years and the elected town moderator for eight one year terms. 

The judge resides in Stoughton with his wife Joanne and their four children.

BOARD APPOINTED/REAPPOINTED FOR 3-YEAR TERM
Board members reappointed for a three year term include:  Orrin Doxer (Newton); Joseph Ludwig (Sharon); Judy Ludwig (Sharon); Jeanne Fleming (Stoughton); Cindy-jo Gross (Brookline); Gail Russell (Brockton); Stanley Hatoff (Boston); Donald Shanbar (North Easton; Eleanor Herburger (Sharon);    Fredric Snyderman (Sharon);  George Kane (Boston).

Board member completing first year appointment, reappointed for a three year term:
William O’Donnell (Norwood).

BOARD OF ADVISORS REAPPOINTED FOR 3-YEAR TERM
In addition to the board member appointments and reappointments, the following members of the Board of Advisors  were reappointed to three year terms.  They are:
