New England Sinai Hospital is a long-term, acute-care hospital with an 80-year tradition of providing exceptional and compassionate care for patients with complex medical and pulmonary needs. You can help us continue this tradition by supporting the Hospital's 2008 major fundraising event, Stepping Out With Sinai, on May 10, 2008 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza.
Each year we recognize a member of the community who has made an exceptional contribution to New England Sinai. This year, we honor Stephen J. De Cesare, Sinai Foundation's Chairman of the Board and Senior Vice President of Eastern Bank (and formerly President of Sharon Cooperative Bank) for his many years of service and contributions to Sinai and the community.
New England Sinai Hospital has embarked on a capital campaign with funds earmarked for advancing our Pulmonary Center of Excellence, including clinical research and the expansion of our inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care departments. Proceeds of Stepping Out With Sinai 2008 will be used toward this exciting and necessary capital project.

Over 400 friends and supporters helped the New England Sinai Hospital Foundation raise an impressive $250,000 at the hospital’s “Stepping Out” Gala, exceeding the expected fundraising goal. Friends and supporters made contributions through sponsorships, program book ads, ticket purchases, and auction buys.
